'I discovered Sølve's work at the very beginning of Numéro, almost 20 years ago, and I will never forget when I first set eyes on his pictures: they were unlike anything I'd ever seen before and I immediately knew that he would become one of the most trailblazing and game-changing artists. It was obvious for me that he was a great, original and innovative photographer when he started shooting for the magazine. Sølve's power to create unsettling images has always greatly inspired me. Natalia Vodianova, Kate Moss, Karen Elson, Eva Herzigova. Sølve has photographed the most beautiful women of our time for Numero.’ (extract from Babeth Djian’s introduction in the book)
We got commissioned by fashion photographer Sølve Sundsbø to art direct and design an exhibition catalogue and art prints for 'Sølve Sundsbø pour Numero’ an exhibition at Studio Des Acacias in Paris to celebrate the long-time collaboration between Sølve Sundsbø and the french fashion magazine Numéro. At the beginning our dear friend and collaborator Creative Director and Editor-In-Chief Thomas Persson connected the dots and recommended us to Sølve as he was looking for an Art Director to take on this project. We gratefully said yes, of course!
